Food Forest Package

In this package you will receive 2 cuttings from each variety of below:

Tena:

The Tena fig is a delightfully light-colored fig known for its exquisite flavor profile. With a mildly sweet taste and a smooth finish, this variety features minimal to no seed crunch, making it a delightful treat. The medium-sized fruits ripen to perfection, offering an enjoyable eating experience.

Little Miss Figgy:

Delicious dark purple figs with rich strawberry-red centers, and dark green leaves with deep lobes. Hardy to zone 6/7

Texas Everbearing:

Fig is medium to large size, with whitish-amber exterior, and amber interior. It is very sweet and has drop of resin at the entrance to the eye which makes it more impervious to mischievous insects and souring after a rain. Hardy to zone 6/7.

LSU Purple:

A prolific producer of medium-small purple skinned figs, with strawberry colored flesh having excellent flavor and sweetness. It has a small eye making it resistant to spoilage and is very adaptable to container culture. Very popular in the southern states, it is also early ripening and can be grown in shorter season climates. Hardy to zone 7.

Black Mission:

Produces large crops of medium to large fruits. The purplish black fruit and strawberry-colored flesh are of excellent quality and good for drying. May bear spring and summer crops. Fruits are great for fresh eating and popular for drying. Hardy to zone 7.

Celeste:

Small to medium fig with light brown to violet skin and strawberry pulp. Pyriform with tapering neck. Small, closed eye. The eye remains green until the fig is almost ripe (unlike Brown Turkey). Very cold hardy. Excellent fig. Hardy to zone 6/7.

Adams Elderberry:

Large clusters of fragrant, white flowers appear in spring and are followed by clusters of large, dark, purple to black berries in late summer to fall. Fruit can be harvested for making elderberry wine and jam, or left on the plant to provide seasonal forage for wildlife. Grow it as a shrub, or cut it back each year and use it as a bold perennial. Tons of appeal! Deciduous.

Red Goji Berry:

Goji Berries (Lycium barbarum) are used to treat a broad range of ailments and diseases. The superfood is packed with antioxidants, amino acids, Vitamins C, B and E, essential fatty acids - and are widely used to reduce inflammation.

*All plants that come in this package are cold hardy to at least zone 7. We suggest planting them in the warmest micro-climate you can manage on your property*
