Rare Fig Package #1
In this package you will receive 2 cuttings of each variety below.
Unknown Ashbury Black:
Black outer flesh with a deep red inner flesh. Very juicy and rich berry flavor. Probably my favorite fig of all time.
Dalmatie:
The main crop fruits are very big and look enormous when compared to the small size of the tree. The fruit is very dense, sugared and surprisingly, if it rains a little before harvesting, then it becomes juicier without losing its qualities. When perfectly ripe, a drop of sugary honey flows from the eye.
Violet De Bordeaux:
One of the finest tasting figs, produces an abundance of small to medium sized purple-black fruit with an excellent, sweet, rich flavor. Dries well.
NWA Unknown:
This fig was foraged locally in Northwest Arkansas and does not resemble any fig varieties that we are familiar with. It is a deep berry flavored fig with purple flesh. Handles the zone 6/7 winters easily.
